Full size duty pistols are where Glock built their famous reputation for quality and durability. While the Glock 17 may have been the “original” Glock, the Glock 21 has long been used as a duty pistol and home defense weapon by law enforcement and those that favor the 45 ACP round.

Our Gen 2 Glock 21 is Austrian made and wears serial number ADX504. All three sets of serial numbers match. Gen 2 pistols have the smoother pebbled grip texture on the left and right sides of the grip and the more aggressive stippling on the front and back strap.

It has a 4.6 inch barrel and a standard magazine capacity of 13 rounds. Standard Glock sights are mounted on the slide. As a Gen 2 model, there is no accessory rail.

The grips on the pistol are in Excellent condition, as is the frame. The slide rates Good-Very Good as there is slight wear in places. To us, those are likely either storage marks or possibly some holster wear as the pistol does not appear to have been fired much. The bore is Good, as is the barrel. The rifling appears to have a lot of life left in it.

If you’re a fan of early Glock models or if you want an affordable, reliable pistol with a lot of stopping power (AND SEVEN TOTAL MAGAZINES), take a good look at this one. Powerful, but with very light recoil, this model will always be a favorite.
