The Glock 43X MOS "K" cut is specifically desiged for direct mounting of Holosun-K footprint optics like the 507K and EPS Carry, replacing the older screw posts with a new design. This eliminates the need for adapter plates and creates a more secure fit with better thread engagement and support, creating a true K footprint instead of the previous RMSc footprint.
Key differences of the MOS "K" cut
Optic compatibility:
It is specifically made for the Holosun K-footprint, while the previous MOS version was more suited to the RMSc footprint.
No adapter plates:
The "K" cut allows for direct mounting, eliminating the need for adapter plates which were sometimes required on the older MOS models.
New mounting system:
The new design features screw posts that are part of the slide, which replaces the older bosses used for mounting optics. This new system is considered more secure.
Improved security:
The new design is expected to offer better thread engagement and more support for the optic, leading to a more stable platform.
