USED - Beretta 84F – 3.82” Barrel – 13+1 – Italian Model – 1990 – Orig. Box - CALIBER 9 Short (380 ACP) – $729.00
This particular Beretta Model 84F is the Italian model that was imported in 1990. The AZ date code on the right side of the pistol confirms the date. While there have been a lot of different versions of the Model 84, this one serial #: D71140Y) really stands out.
The pistol has a matte black finish and black plastic grips with the Beretta logo. The model was based on the same style as the Beretta 92FS Government model. Ambi safety levers also function as a decocker.
Overall, this pistol appears to have seen little use. The bore is Excellent, as is the barrel and the rifling. The top of the barrel would show wear from the open slide design if a lot of rounds had been put through the pistol and we do not see that on this pistol.
The pistol is both double action and single action. The double action trigger pull was much lighter than expected. The single action pull has some takeup to a firm wall and then a clean break.
The grips are in Near Mint condition. We would grade the slide as Excellent – Near Mint. The frame would grade as Near Mint except for a small area of finish loss on the left side of the trigger guard. Please see the attached photo.
In addition to a very well maintained Beretta, you’ll also get the original case and the original cardboard box, something that we don’t often see. The 84F is a great shooter but it also looks fantastic on display. However you plan to use your 84F, this one is certain to check that box!
Purchase includes the pistol, (2) 13 round magazines, original cardboard box, original hard case, cleaning brush and owner’s manual.
