Up for trade or sale is a nice 1977 JM Marlin 1894 44 Mag pre-safety. As you can see from the pics it is in great condition. I have had it for many years and do not shoot it. I remember shooting it once and since then it just sits in the safe. I do not recall where the old man I got it from got it either, so no real back story or anything cool like that to go along with it. Just a great condition rifle that I don't use. Sale wise: we can price this at $1200. (of coarse cash- I don't do credit cards, checks, money orders and so on.) Trade wise I am interested in an HK clone like a PTR91 or the Century C93 as well as some surplus stuff like a 1903 Springfield. I do have a lot of surplus items but not the three I just mentioned, so if you offer a similar firearm and I pass on it please do not feel bad or get upset.
I have done business on Texas Gun Trader before and there are some great people on here. With that said, I would like to avoid issues with the not-so-great ones I have had to deal with in the past. So, let's get some things clear up front that may help. I am not interested in farm animals, dogs, cats, toys, video games or pretty much anything I did not list I wish to trade for so please don't ask. I don't know what the round count for this rifle is as it is so old it did not come with a round counter on it. Recoil - If you have to ask then this is not a good rifle for you. Accuracy - I recall I hit what I was shooting at. I did not measure or test this rifle for accuracy, nor will I. If you are like my friend Dave, accuracy will not matter anyway. Dave couldn't hit water from the bow of a submarine. Don't be like Dave. I do not need a history lesson on this rifle or a lesson in the current volatility of the firearms market either. No tire kickers. Either you want it and have cash or something I will trade for or do not. If you do then you may text me at 214-nine zero one-4377 I am located in Celina. You will be coming to me. I will not travel. Thank you for your understanding.
