A nice example of an unaltered Swedish Mauser made in 1941 by Husqvarna Vapenfabriks AB. All matching serial numbers, sharp rifling 24" barrel. It is chambered for a 6.5 x55 cartridge which is very accurate and flat shooting with light recoil. It is similar to the 6.5 Creedmore. Ammo is readily available.
A BIT OF HISTORY
Sweden claimed neutrality in WWII and was not invaded by Germany but was pressured and threatened to allow access to Norway and Finland which were invaded. As a result of Germany's threats and pressure as WWII progressed, Sweden became increasingly aligned with the Allied powers.
