In the world of competitive shooting, the name Jerry Miculek is synonymous with record-breaking success. A highly-accomplished shooter, Miculek depends on his equipment to reliably deliver when fractions of seconds count. You can shoot the same shotgun this legendary champion uses with Mossberg's JM Pro Series 930 Tactical Class of signature shotguns. This competition-oriented autoloader has many performance-enhancing features. Built to Jerry Miculek's specifications, the JM Pro has an oversized bolt handle and bolt release, with a beveled loading gate and shorter forend for quicker loading times. The dual gas system offers lighter recoil and easier cycling, and it has a 9-round extended magazine tube for a 10-shot capacity. Further distinguishing this signature series is the "JM Pro Series Tactical Class" logo laser-engraved on the receiver. It has a synthetic stock finished in black with a blued metal finish, and includes an Accu-Set of chokes.
I purchased this shotgun new about 8 years ago and originally untended to use it for 3-gun competition, but never started it. It has about 500 rounds through it from a variety of buckshot, birdshot and slugs. It has been used for just range shooting and skeet shooting. It comes in the original box with all the original accessories, including: the original 3 chokes (Full, Improved Cylinder and Modified), a Skeet choke that was purchased separately, the OEM choke tool, all the manuals, lock, etc. It does have some marks on the finish of the barrel and extended mag tube that can be seen in the photos. Some of these are from just pulling off the barrel/tube brace that has to be removed to remove the extended mag tube when cleaning the gun. The gun functions excellent regardless of the type of ammo use with a very nice shiny bore. In the first few round shooting the gun after purchasing it new, it did have an early extractor failure. The extractor in the bolt was replaced under warranty and Mossberg provided 2 additional spares that can be seen in the photos. It has never had an issue since then, but the spares are included. Must be current Texas LTC card holder and sign bill of sale.
