Beautiful 100% bone stock Model 1903 rifle produced by Rock Island Arsenal in 1909. All original parts with the exception of the reproduction sling. The stock retains all of its original cartouches, and has a beautiful red hue from the correct military stock oil. The barrel is dated April 1909. When I first acquired this rifle it had an early Lyman sight installed. I have removed it, but it has left two small threaded holes on the back side of the receiver as seen in the photos. I was planning on threading in two small screws and then filling the heads smooth, but I have held off in case someone wants to reinstall the sight. This rifle is perfectly shootable as any milsurp should be, but with how nice it is I believe it deserves to be a safe queen or on display. Located in Burkburnett, Texas. $1,500 cash only. I will accept Venmo/paypal for a holding fee if you are coming from a long distance. I prefer texts, but if you need to call please leave a message if I do not answer. I usually don’t call back unknown numbers unless a message is left. Thank you! I have dozens more photos I can send.
