This rifle is a ce44 coded Kar98k "High Turret" replica, with great attention to detail, and replicates an unusual JP Sauer & Sohn produced high turret sniper rifle.

The code under the front turret base is the block font "ce44" rather than earlier script, and the stock is also a Sauer part.

The scope mounts were made in Austria by a gentleman who no longer makes them, and they are considered the highest quality reproductions available.

The scope is a wartime "dkl" coded scope (Schneider & Sohn), but left over after fighting stopped, and the commercial logo was added to the scope to sell it commercially.

The smith who assembled the rifle perfectly hid the logo under the soldered ring. Otherwise, it is identical to a wartime dkl scope. Pick post reticle, and sunshade

Some rifle parts are mismatched, but all appropriate.
