1960 Dated izhevsk AKM rifle build. This came from an original unissued 1960 parts kit. The bolt face was completely clean when I got it. The clean kit was also still in the but stock, which is pretty rare with those kits that came in 2021-2022.




All numbers match with the exception of the recoil spring. I believe this was a more recent mixup of parts, maybe during the demill process. It’s possible if you put up an add on the Akfiles, you might find someone with the matching recoil spring.




The receiver is a Childers Guns Receiver. Not a US stamping receiver. But rather one of the older Polish Stamping Receivers made in Europe.




The barrel is an original Romanian Barrel from the communist era.




The rifle was manufactured by The Legendary Ak Builders, Two River Arms.




I had the paint matched to the original paint from the original parts kit. All the parts have original paint with the exception of the barrel and receiver. “Russian Paint” was used for the build.




The rifle is chambered in 7.62x39.

The barrel/bore’s is in near perfect condition 9.5/10. Strong lands and grooves. No corrosion.
