This was the last ditch effort by Colt to appease the US Govt to not restrict(ban) by shaving down the bayonet lug, bolt carrier and putting in an auto-sear blocker to prevent auto fire conversions(you can reverse it). This rifle has the 20in heavy barrel rated for 5.56 1/7 twist. It is in VERY good condition. There were some upgrades that include an M4 upper with a detachable carry handle, GG&G sling mount at the front of the stock and a pic-rail mount on the front of the handguard which was typically used for mounting a bipod.
I am asking $1,700.00 for all that is pictured which includes the case, 6x pre-ban La Belle USGI mags, belt, canteen(never used it, 2002), and compass pouch. 214-600-51twofive for more pictures or questions.
