This is a high-quality, well-made, and well-finished 8-shot top break, double action .22 LR revolver. It was made between 1955 and 1957. It has a transfer bar to prevent accidental discharge if dropped. Iver Johnson came up with this in 1899. Ruger waited until 1973. It has a six-inch slab side heavy barrel, weighs 30 oz, and is 10.75" long. It has a checkered one-piece black walnut grip, grooved trigger, checkered case-hardened hammer, adjustable rear sight for windage, and an adjustable front partridge sight for elevation. These revolvers have several innovations; they are sealed to help prevent gas leaks, and the cylinder is countersunk and has grooves that allow dry firing. Mechically perfect, bluing is 99% intact, no pitting or rust. It would be NRA-rated excellent. It's fun to shoot and very accurate.
