Not your average off the shelf M1A, from Springfields Golden age of the early 1990’s. This rifle is one of a few built by SAI (preban) from mint war stock USGI M14’s, decommissioned by the feds after the end of Cold War 1. Unlike earlier models these were made from clean rifles with all original forged parts, namely including original barrels, less semi only receiver and stock. As such it’s perfectly reliable with all mags, cheap ammo etc.—— Mint Chrome lined 1960’s H&R barrel and HRA marked operating rod. Winchester bolt, crisp Springfield polished military trigger etc. Well bedded from the factory during assembly, grouped nice at 100. Took out to 500 and hit the gong first try (have video for those who’ll say these can’t be accurate) You can tell this one was built great excellent stock fitment, tight gas system no wiggle etc. 7.62x51 NATO or .308 ——Includes accessories such as original buttock cleaning Kit as well as spare extractor and ejector, total of six 20 round magazines. BDT case fits everything easily even sealed original bayonet.
